There are lots of galleries and museums that have workshops for children and activities for the whole family to enjoy.  Get creative this week and take the kids on Luas to enjoy the Art that Dublin has to offer.

Dublin Mini Marker Faire What: Maker Faire is a family friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness. It’s a place where people show what they are making and share what they are learning. Makers are of all ages and backgrounds and range from tech enthusiasts to crafters, hobbyists and artists.

Time out of Mind, Irish Museum of Modern ArtWhat: The Time out of Mind exhibition engages with the theme of science in celebration of Dublin City of Science 2012. The exhibition and programme creates a lens through which to explore the connections between art and science.

ART TROLLEY SESSIONS, RUA RED

Art Trolley Sessions, Rua RedWhat: One-hour session involving hands-on, take home activities led by artist Jane Fogarty. The Art Trolley sessions are suitable for children aged 3 to 8 years accompanied by a parent/guardian. Two children maximum per adult.

Also, family film screening takes place after Art Trolley session. Booking is essential.
