Anti-vandalism is one of the top priorities for Luas. As such, we reach out to the customer for their support in putting a stop to vandalism on trams and at platforms.

Luas operator Transdev in conjunction with Dublin Bus and the emergency services will stage an emergency exercise today at 11am, Parnell Street, Dublin. The exercise will role play an incident involving a tram and double decker bus.

Today, Luas operator, Transdev introduced a new text service for Luas customers. Text LUAS to 51444 is a service for customers to report incidents of anti-social behaviour.

Do you use your Leap Card on Luas? If so, make sure you Touch On before boarding a tram and Touch Off when leaving a tram. This includes everyone with Annual or Monthly tickets on Leap Card as well as Public Services Cards users with Free Travel.

Luas are reminding all customers who travel with children to always board the tram and alight the tram at the same time as the child/ children travelling with you.

The majority of cyclists in Dublin are responsible and law-abiding. However Luas drivers regularly see cyclists acting irresponsibly and putting themselves and Luas passengers at risk.
