On Bank Holiday Monday 2 June 2025, Luas will run Sunday Operating Hours and Frequency with services beginning at 07:00 on the Green and Red Lines.
Luas will run normal Operating Hours and Frequency on Saturday 31 May and Sunday 1 June.
Numerous events are taking place in Dublin over the weekend, such as Bloom Festival, Forbidden Fruit Festival, and VHI Mini Marathon, and other music and sport events in different venues in the city. We recommend you planning your journey in advance and taking plenty of time for arriving to your event.
Park & Ride with Luas
On the Luas Red Line there are Park & Ride facilities at Cheeverstown, Red Cow, and Tallaght. On the Luas Green Line there are Park & Ride facilities at Balally, Stillorgan, Sandyford and Carrickmines.

Top tips for travelling on Luas
- Buy a return ticket on your way to the event
- Use a TFI Leap Card to quickly Touch On and Off at the Stops and avoid queuing for the Ticket Machines
- Download the free Luas App available on the Apple App and Google Play stores, for live Luas information
- Remember, it’s forbidden to drink, smoke or vape in the trams
- Respect Luas Staff, and follow the instructions from events staff members and security
