Children aged 0 to 4 years inclusive travel free.
Child Tickets are valid for children aged 5 to 15 years inclusive. Children aged 5 to 8 can now travel free on Transport for Ireland (TFI) services with a Child (5–8) TFI Leap Card. Proof of age may be required.
Child TFI Leap Cards 9-15 years can be used to pay for travel by anyone who is 9 to 15 years old (inclusive, up to their 16th birthday) and Child TFI Leap Cards 16-18 years can be used to pay for travel by anyone who is 16 to 18 years old (inclusive, up to their 19th birthday).

TFI 90 Minute Fares for children are available with Child TFI Leap Cards on Luas and other Dublin public transport.

Child (5-8) TFI Leap Card
Children aged 5 to 8 can now travel free on Transport for Ireland (TFI) services with a Child (5-8) TFI Leap Card. It allows children aged 5 to 8 years old to travel free across the TFI bus, train and tram network. Don’t forget to tap on and tap off for Luas and train services, and tap on for buses.
